ALMOST 46

Lights will go on March eleven
Two beams shooting into heaven
Six months since the towers went down
Will be 46 and still around

A tribute to all the people that died
To show all the tears cried
White into dark always will be
Good over evil infinite key

In these 45 Winters, Springs, Summers, and Falls
The right in the mind forever calls
Imagine all wrong stricken from Earth
When those lights go on the day of my birth

That there will be not hatred, death, pain
No loss of sunshine when there's rain
We'll all be happy, loving, free
Grace abounding, without tragedy

September 11, 2001, Golden America was hurt
Twin Trade Towers burning in the dirt
Six months ago still so unreal
We talk, we fantasize, we feel.
