The Lonely Hour

Here comes the lonely hour.........

Here comes the lonely hour,
spreading its petals,
ready to flower.
There the two sit in fortitude,
trying to escape,
life's solitude.

A smile is given easily,
yet there are often,
none to be see.
Some hurried greeting thrust about,
at times makes me,
want to shout.

Murmured words that have no meaning,
minds decayed,
from lack of cleaning,
watch as time slips away.
They wonder what things,
they should say.

Life it is an endless stage,
a moment we etch,
upon a page.
We are but here to bear life's pain,
to look to the stars,
and dream again.

Here comes the lonely time,
when love becomes,
one more crime.
We in our blindness won't realize,
our lives are only,
built on lies.
