Reflections of My Perceptions
cat and mouse
you know your place in my heart is secure
so maybe that's why you seem so sure
still, right now you are but a blur
I thought your words gave a clear picture
but, unforunately, your actions now seem to obscure
don't you realize that for me this is torture,
wondering when our next interaction will occur?
hoping to one day hear my lioness' purr,
but i guess this cat and mouse game is what you prefer
and as long as i continue to play, then it's what i deserve
