A goody two shoes was once my way,
throughout my avoidance, without much to say.
Then one shoe, it got in my way,
I soon tripped and there I lay.
Trouble came, my life to change,
even though it may seem strange.
A struggle in stride, I was not knowing,
where the situations had me going.
First in marriage, the knot would not loosen,
While stuck in a marriage my mind I was loosin'.
finally it did, it came untied,
freed of marriage and still alive.
Then onto the next, more trouble soon came,
I probably have no one else to blame.
It is my trouble and it does hurt,
now both shoes are full of dirt.
