On the dates of September 8th and 9th I witnessed a full eclipse of the moon. The moon those nights was full. On September 11th a large earthquake happened in Mexico.
It was the darkest of nights there by the river.
Reflection of the red moon staring,
Soft whispers passed between the leaves,
and I was wearing,
my favorite dress.
There by the gazebo where he and I,
stopped to watch the children playing.
We noticed the occurrence,
a blood moon was displaying.
I was there, I do confess.
We watched the moon being consumed,
by that ever spreading shroud.
There above thousand year old oaks,
on-lookers among the crowd,
premonition, ill omen, distress.
