Your Summer Smile
I watched today as I rode by the changing of the summer sky.....

I watched today as I rode by,
the changing of the summer sky,
and I wondered how I let it slip,
the kiss of rain upon my lip.
I dreamed today of autumn nights,
of silly little lover's fights,
and I wondered how I could do,
the things that I once did to you.
I paused a moment through the day,
to think of something I could say,
perhaps to ease the pain awhile,
and see once more your summer smile.
