A Taste of The Rainbow Personal Poem 09/2006History: Couple met at bowling alley. At first they told everyone they were just friends. He drove 6 hrs every weekend to be with Danielle. They are on the phone 24/7, it is an addiction. Steven loves 'Skittles'. He just got back from Iraq. Their second wedding anniversary is Oct 23, 2006. Twice a day at 11:11 AM & PM they share what they call a digital kiss while he is in Iraq. They want children. Both are Christians. A Taste of The Rainbow Late in September of Two Thousand and Four, Danielle went bowling, but found much more! In the beginning, they were ‘Just Friends'. With a taste of the rainbow their story begins. Like unto Eve's apple, Steven was fed Skittles of green, yellow, blue and red. Although Fort Campbell was a six hour drive, Steven drove every weekend to keep love alive. Weekdays their phones were their love connection. Unlimited minutes fed their love addiction. After a month long engagement she became his bride. The good Lord will lead them and be their guide. Soon thereafter Steven was deployed to Iraq. Danielle waited and prayed that he would come back. Twice a day at 11:11 they shared a digital kiss. Though separated, their love would not be amiss! Finally the year ended, no longer alone and apart. She welcomed him home with a happy heart! Their rainbow's sweet taste holds the promise Of a lifetime fulfilled in wedded paradise. This year on October Twenty and Three The bells will ring for their second anniversary!
