Driven Desire
Be careful what you seek,
As desire makes you weak;
Driven by lust in a desire,
That can be a blazing fire.
When taken over by lust,
It is God you loose trust;
And turns into obsession,
For an earthly possession.
Your heart is in a treasure,
Whatever you get pleasure;
As a focal point of a source,
In becoming a driving force.
But stress builds in your life,
Through the toils and strife;
With making it hard to cope,
Because you have lost hope.
Who or what is your god?
That you cherish and laud;
If not God is the drawback.
In Him is the faith you lack.
