A Troubled Mind
We live in such a fast pace world,
So quickly everything is hurled;
Moment by moment feeling tense,
That some things are as an offense.
Our lives just hanging on a thread,
Having fear on where we tread;
All around us in feeling paranoid,
Because of nothing to fill the void.
Much going on we do not understand,
Much expected putting on a demand;
Dazed and confused about this life,
Since it has created so much strife.
An uncertainty of which way to turn,
Experience not taught what to learn;
Thinking of alternatives lies ahead,
Maybe even wishing for to be dead.
Life does not have to feel this way,
God can help me though this day;
The Bible is where I must seek,
For helping me where I am weak.
