ODE TO A VALENTINE

It's close to Valentine's Day
And as always I say
I love you, Dan
My angelman

Such a long thought
Where you're caught
In my dreams
Where poetry screams

Do you hear the shrill attempts
Words to you to pimp
Myself into your life
Do I give up without the strife?

Heartunes, just a way to say, "hi"
To the world's perfect guy
An Angel, Earthking, Doctor, Illusion
A ball rolling energetic fusion

My heart remembers you
It aches, is sad, gets blue
The one through life or death, heaven or hell
The man of mine I must tell

To write to you is bliss
Through the air I blow a kiss
For my love, my Valentine
You, little kid, intelligent and kind.
