Dragon/Man or Beast
I search out my prey
Those who'd hurt and see me die
I display my fiery anger
As I swoop down from the sky
I just want to live
Find a place that I'll fit in
But you don't try to understand
That through hell I've been
I'm feared because I'm different
Does my heart not beat the same?
You've seen my blood run red
Your lances were no game
You've stolen all my tears
And left a fire inside
But I'll not let you beat me
I'll survive on just my pride
To hell with all your rage
And you're holier than thou
What makes you think your better?
Than I am anyhow
You've mocked and you've tormented
Pursued in hopes I'd flee
Tell me who's the beast
Is it man, or me?
