Absent Minded

lovers denials

nothing compares to your absense
sharp jagged holes
of fragments
that make up the memory
a kiss
a flower
a long walk
a longer goodbye

nothing compares to the heartache
wretched complexes
pouring over the moments
a sillouette
a knife
a golden ring

nothing compares to the insanity
that you've left behind
in you're wake
pictures
of traces
of fields of dreams
and im standing
beneath the blossoming trees
the sun is rising or setting
and the clouds are turning a vibrant pink

It happened soo quickly
the years
the madness of it all
the first kiss
and the wedding ring
and your transformation
from beautiful
to the beast
