I won't pretend to know how it feels
To have no love for God
But He created you; He loves you
And if you just call out His name
He'll be there to comfort you
And show you the reason why He came
I won't pretend that life will get better
Just because you believe in God
Satan has ways and he never gives up
He wants to pull you away from God
But God will never leave your side
He will be there to pick you up
You have the comfort of knowing
That you have been saved
So let Satan do what he wants
Because deep in your heart
You know there will come a day
That you'll be in the presence of God
So I pray from the bottom of my heart
That you will have faith one day
And realize that you too can be saved
Just open your heart and let the Spirit in
He will give you the comfort of peace
And one day we'll rejoice together
