Absent Minded

A god without a name

metaphysical chess
every moment
a prime example
a point to ponder
left behind
in my shadow

How can I
make it clear to you
that i suffer along
fathom the mystery
and sing along
how can i make my point
without thunderstorms
and hail
telling you
the answers
are unclear
and its time for you
to amke a change
or you are forever stuck
in denial

Life is a gamble
HIghest wage
and the deck is stacked
Every living being
dealt a higher hand
this  i understand

but the next round is coming
and im shuffling the cards
just in the same way
we'll be playing MY game
sitting at the same table
making the same moves
thinking of new tricks
and things to talk about
as we place useless wagers
forever and ever
as i have stacked the deck
for the game
to vever end

and i get my way

Fate has confessed
and i hear time has something
more to say
used and abused
perhaps in his own pity party
has ssaid it again and again
but you never listen
so we stumble back
this way again
in case I"M wrong

A god without a name
solving his own riddles and puzzles
to reveal it all to you
and rule from beyond the grave
A god without a name
lost to be discovered
rediscovered and realised
praised, hated
as he resurrects life lessons
and poisoned prayers
