Self Raising Children!
Add a pinch of conversation
And a tiny bit of smile.
Add limitless computer games
And leave for quite a while!
Throw in a daily take away,
MacDonald's is the best.
Let them stay up late each night,
Playing on the Internet!
Feed them when they're hungry,
At any time of day.
When they demand new gadgets,
Let them throw the old away!
When they beg for money,
Give them exactly what they ask.
Let them live inside their moment,
Unaware of future or the past!
Do not stop them spending,
Don't encourage them to save.
Let them eat just anything,
Forget an early grave!
Add hours of TV viewing,
And a free mobile phone.
Toss in a costly Ipod
And leave the kids alone!
Joy Weare.
