Follow darkness or follow the light,
It's an example, the cause of a fight.
To follow a child may be light unawares,
though hard to tell if anyone cares.
The flesh is of darkness, Jesus the light,
let's take time to think if the example is right.
A sorrowful lead the flesh has to be,
without understanding, the darkness to see.
The example of Jesus is that of love,
an eternal happiness that comes from above.
without the example of Jesus, his light,
Life would always be a struggle and fight.
It is his guidance that lights up the heart,
the example of Jesus is where we must start.
