GOD LOVES CANDY

Wake up on my garnet velvet couch
Slept on it with front door open
Get up coffee fast before the grouch
Turns the girl on who's saying nope and

Today's mister's not bringing on the down
Sun coming up high in the eastern sky
Right now, good girl dance in the world
Angel wings on spin so fast I fly

Then the early of this God's day
I'm on the white of angel wings
The heat of the sun is on the way
As in my soul a sweet heartune sings

You are alive and you are free
You are important, beautiful to me
If those uncommitted far-away men
Are too blind to see that when

I am rested and on fire
Early morning sparks desire
If the days grace comes at all
It will be because this angel will fall

Soaring high, gliding low
The angel in me you don't know
Because those guys they only see
The devil there in the dark of me

When Candace means light
Illuminating sun glowing
God's getting this girl right
I'm his angel and he's knowing

My soft angel body strong
Can fly from here to the heavens above
Singing a sunrise awake up song
All because of God's patient love

All because God's giving
All because of God I breathe
All because of God I'm living
God loves Candy, I won't have to grieve.
