Heart Of The Matter

Who Am I?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

It's at this special time of evening,
When all is quiet in the world,
I listen to gentle music,
Soothing my cares,
And my mood settles,
Into mellowness,

I think of you then,
Many miles away,
And probably sleeping,
Or do you sit, as I,
Alone, deep in thought,
And thinking of me too?

It's strange how it is with us,
I know you so well,
You speak my thoughts,
As I remain silent,
Do you hear my thoughts tonight?
Am I hearing you?

I'm thinking of you now,
And me,
Whoever that is,
For tonight,
As I listen to the music,
I am no longer sure,

Who, I am.
