Who do we give power to?
We who try to come off as enlightened?
When we give power to anything
We lessen that spark inside of us that is divine
We give power to fear
Poison is not just cigarettes
Or alcohol
Or the emfs given off by computers
To those who are sensitive
Poison can also be thoughts
Of those who are afraid or project powerlessness
Against anything
Eleanor Roosevelt said” No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
I say, ”Nothing can make you feel sick without giving your power away to it.”
Those who are enlightened can transform
Hate to love
Discord to peace
Confrontation to resolution
Those who are on the path to enlightenment
Still struggle,
Though they may not know it,
When they feel the need to
Impose their views
On another
Respect for others
Whose views are not yours
Is what leads to peace
Is what will settle the inner conflict
Which is projected onto others
Which can transform fields of disruptive energy
Into something else
For love can transform all things
Remember this
When you look upon others
And whish to impose your seemingly more
Enlightened views upon them.
Respect is loving
Contempt is not.
Anger, hate, aggression, fear,
These lead to the Dark side of the Force…
No truer words reveal
What may seem a loving thing to do
Than the spirit in which it is given.
So I take in these things
I experience
And transform them
To what you hear now before you
My respect
For you to have a different opinion than mine
For I need not change you,
I Merely need to express my self.
