The First Day!

This day for so long
I've been waiting,
And now it is here
With a smile!

I sit in the sunshine
With coffee,
And sip it so slowly
With style!

I blink out the
Noise and the nonsense,
The forms and the
Meetings so long!

I breathe in the
Frolic and laughter
And write a new
Holiday song!

The sunshine warms
And adds lustre,
And brightens the day
With new sight!

I live in it's joy
With new vigour,
With a feeling of
Bubble and light!
