Now-a-days I find myself around vets and strays. Stuck in their old ways and preaching about how it was in the old days.
You, see, now-a-days people think crime pays. Even the politicians have adopted their ways. I was even influenced in my younger days, but somehow I got out of those ways
and for those who still believe in the phrase crime pays; well they eventually see lengthy prison days; saying, if only they had changed their ways. Praying for a glimpse of
the old days, because, now-a-days look like End of Days… for mankind if I can rephrase.
The human species will merely be a phase in Mother Earths many days.
I believe we've got staying power, but now-a-days the trend is to devour.
Not only our natural resources, but others sources, sending over sea our foreign forces.
Are these the ways of the world we live in? If so I see an expeditious end.
That's why now-a-days I pray more than I use to… okay I'll admit, barely use to, but I know it's something I need to do, because, now-a-days will soon be through.
