YOUR CHOICE

I have to hear your voice everyday
And I don't want to be in your way
Of your life there with another
Where you say you won't be smothered

In the blankets of my passion
Folds of a female's fashion
Where you say she's not your girl
Then why do you live in her world?

My light dims daily
Because you seem to play me
For a big fat fool
Without the rights to rule

Where you live
To whom you give
Well, I can't change that anyway
All I can do is say

You want my kisses on your lips?
Then you better come to grips
With the justice I deserve
Or my love is going to swerve

Off this road called romance
Where you can bet the only dance
That I will be dancing today
Is one alone that you can't play

It's two years now as we go on
Still your other woman's not gone
And you go home to her at night
While knowing I don't think it's right

What decision will you make
Stay with her or my love take
Give up on me as you do now
I don't seem to have the touch somehow

To send you home to pack your bags
She gets you there while our love lags
Behind---the last to the finish line
On a sunny ride that is not fine

Are you ever going to see my pain?
Am I ever going to gain
The things there for you at your home
Where I am disallowed to roam

The choice is yours
You pace the floors
Think about it quick
Because I've already been sick

From the way you treat me as less
Always left alone to guess
What goes on with her there too
Can't you see it leaves me blue?

And I am old, I need the pink
Not the sadness where I sink
Into the pit of Satan's creed
You can't have there and fill my need

My desires strong, I touch your face
We do love when we have the space
And her space where you do rest
It needs to end if I am your best

Then if I'm not I'll know for sure
That you can't leave the home of her
Because she holds you in her trap
While I sit here and put up with this cr*p

That I won't take forever
You must think that you're so clever
Giving your time and money to her need
While I write on to beg and plead

That you bond with the one who's down
Live at my house not in her town
Because if this is never going to be
You let go, and set me free.
