Why not Fairies and Elves to be
Why not Santa in his slay~
why not little people in the undergrowth
Why does it all have to go away~
All grown up I might well be now
But I do believe in God above~
So why not all these special entities
Why not all these things of positivity and love~
When I was a wee child long ago
They were always there for me~
Now Im getting older every day
Im not supposed to believe you see~
I think about the children now
who are told each and every day~
That all these little entities are not for real
And I think thats a crime I say~
OK .. OK .. you can keep the tooth fairy
Ive nothing left there now to give these days~
But I still believe in all the rest
These little things I feel will be around always~
