She sits by the window gazing sadly outside
As the leaves start changing their colors all day
Autumn is now approaching so quickly she knows
Recalling all those special moments with him today
In her mind she can't stop thinking most of the time of him
Of all the things that they did together before he went away
In her heart she can't stop yearning and crying for him all day
She tries to remember his promise that he'll come back to her one day
And that's the only way that she's been able to cope with all this
Reading his letters somewhat lessen all her pain and sorrow
She can still feel him near her all the time like when he was around
Sometimes is very hard for her to accept the fact that he's really gone
She knows that he can't be with her just right now and that she wishes in vain
While she dreams and waits for him alone another day just to come back home to her again.
