For you're my childhood friend for I am truly blessed
Oh how the years have flown by can you even believe it
Wow it seems like just yesterday that we were sharing cheezits
Alright maybe I'm not naming the right chip
But we're both poets now so I had to rhyme a bit
Let me give you honor where honor is due
Your webpages are awesome and I'm so proud of you
Who would have thought we now would communicate
On this wide world web we call the internet
We use to talk each others heads off in our younger days
I guess with time we all have a right to change
However it isn't important to count the times we talk
For with a friendship grounded in time and love has a bond
Like Jack and the beanstalk it will grow up to the clouds
That's our friendship...rooted to always be close around
You have a heart so kind and gentle and true
Hoping you have a birthday that all remember you
