The Supreme Judge
We are being judged all the time,
No matter how small the crime;
Even if being aware or unknown,
It will be decided if to condone.
Whenever you lie or even cheat,
There is one who will see deceit;
The truth already known by God,
He will know if we commit fraud.
There is no man who can judge,
For opinions or holding a grudge;
As we let our feelings to interfere,
And will not allow us to be sincere.
We have God, who is just and fair,
That understands facts with an err;
He sees the truth within His light,
Brings forth a decision that is right.
But there is mercy in the Lord,
And is always true to His Word;
Willing to forgive from a plea,
In a confession that sets us free.
