~~~
It's Christmas time once again
It's time to celebrate this joyous
fun filled season.
~~~
Yes' there's so much magic in the air.
It's time to trim that tree with tinsel;
garland, ornaments, and lights.
~~~
Time to hang those brightly colored;
stockings; all trimmed with buttons;
bows, and glitter and decorations.
~~~
And what fun and enjoyment it is,
to watch the look upon children's face's,
on Christmas morning.
~~~
When they wake up and see all of those;
brightly decorated, packages placed so;
neatly under the tree.
~~~
Yes' it's time for family gatherings;
and spending Christmas Eve sipping,
eggnog and roasting chestnut's.
~~~
It's time for mistletoe and holly,
and the time for Christmas caroler's
singing in the streets.
~~~
Bringing out the spirit of Christmas.
Oh' and that wonderful smell of,
Christmas cookies, candies, breads and pies.
~~~
Coming from grandma's kitchen.
And the holiday spirit is topped off,
with grandpa reciting that old story.
~~~
"The Night Before Christmas".
Yes' each one takes their part in this,
festive, exciting Christmas Holiday.
~~~
There's nothing like family and friends,
all gathering together on a cold winter's
night, all warm and cozy celebrating.
~~~
And what a beautiful celebration this is.
It's a special time to share joy, love,
and laughter, giving and sharing, with one another.
~~~
But, most of all it's time to celebrate,
the birth of our Savior and King.
Yes' that's what it's all about.
~~~
A Savior that was sent from heaven on
high. To redeem us from our sins forever.
So let's remember, he's our reason for the season.
~~~
He's the reason that we celebrate this holy night.
So may God be with you during this wonderful
holiday season.
~~~
And may he richly bless you and yours.
And bring us all together again to celebrate;
this joyous fun-filled season again and again.

Season's Greetings for a very Happy Christmas

Here is a beautiful Christmas poem
Written by Sandra A. Popp
It's called "Heaven's Gift"
Heavens Gift
Heaven's gift has come to man
Mortal fate rests
Within tiny hallowed hands
Shepard's singing, a shining star
Angels proclaiming
King's Bering gifts from afar
A scene of serene glory
The weight of a holy rush
The meaning of Heaven's story
Twas Gods first Christmas gift to us
Who would recall the power of that day
At the time when he was led away
Bearing a crown, a robe and fateful wounds
Was he not the gift from Heaven's womb
Shall we turn from that holy day
And walk away unchanged
Will we allow it to envelope our souls
Only to let it slowly slip away
Through plastic, tinsel, parties, and gifts
shopping and planning and Christmas lights lit
Can the simple gift be heard or seen
Or does it quietly fade behind holiday sheen?
Let us not forget that he loves us so
He loves us too much to let us go
He sent a plan with his sacrifice
To forgive and cleanse and give us life
Embrace the greatest gift of all
Don't let your sense of the manger wane
The gift of Heaven is yours to receive
It was the true reason he came
