~Shame And Scandal in the country©
America The Beautiful,
that's what they keep telling me.
Let freedom ring,
when will that day be?!
Kids carrying weapons all over,
never mind the golden rule.
When i think back on my day,
we fought with fists in school.
Prayer is no longer allowed,
God has been denied.
Our forefathers would roll over in their graves,
and then out of their coffins they'd rise.
Thy good with brotherhood,
has instead been crowned with pain.
And God's dying on the cross,
seems to have been in vain.
How many tears God has cried,
as he shakes his head in dismay.
But just as he giveth to all of us,
he can also taketh away.
We've set a plague upon our nation,
from sea to shining sea.
And all of us Under God must be prepared,
if the pearly gates reject thee!
