DINNER OR DESERT


He's the bread and butter
You're the smooth desert
You can have one without the other
Like sex without the flirt

He's the rock I cling to
When life's stormy seas arise
You're the one I sail away on
When you smile and look into my eyes

He's the one who brings me down
Plants me firmly on the ground
You're the one who lets me fly
Lets me know alone I can get by

Who wants to be alone
I need the clouds
But also need the stone.
