Come to Me

Come to me my precious one. Awaken flower of yesterday.

Come to me my precious one.
Awaken flower of yesterday.
We will dance till night is done
and chase sorrow far away.

Come let's watch the evening wane
as dawn comes stealing near.
Let's listen to those songs again.
Those songs we loved so dear.

Come my darling one of old
We'll make this night one to remember.
I give you my heart to hold
and we'll gleam just like an ember.

Come, dearest heart to me.
Time it passes as we speak.
No, words will never set us free
and age just makes us weak.

Come to me my only one.
Awaken flower of yesterday.
We will dance till night is done
and chase sorrow far away.
