Passion Fruit

She ate her .apple slowly
Enjoying every bite
Methodically chewing
Every piece just right
I could see the pleasure in her eyes
As she savoured texture.and taste
Not a single shred of that apple
Would in any way be waste
I sat watching her unseen
Enjoying her pleasure
Unrushed precise eating
At her own pace and leisure
She finished her last bite
Ate right down to the core
Gave a little sigh that said
She wished there'd been more
She strode off down that path
To pass right in front of me
A young and healthy woman
Seemingly happy and carefree
I watched her swinging walk
Until she was out of sight
And I just knew
I wanted her that night
I made love later with my lover
Sweet and caring and kind
But I know I was unfaithful
In the depths of my mind
For during that act
I betrayed her trust
For I used her body
In an act of lust
I imagined another woman
Making love with me
After both of us had shared
Fruit of the apple tree
