Abstract World

~A MELODY OF SIGS~

Shards rain down like fall out
Reflections of the past
Converging and then merging
Together here at last

Listless in this abstract world
I watch it pass me bye
Dreams dissolved in shallow pools
Like vapors in the sky

Oh what bitter memories
Cankered sores of time
Oozing and confusing
Wallowing now in grime

Languishing for what's not there
Destitute in my grief
Hopes been splintered on the wind
Death will bring relief

Raucous laughter now explodes
Through time and space I'm hurled
Eradicated so completely
From this abstract world
