Fortifying Faith
Watch out and stand fast,
Fortify your faith to last;
Be solidly secure thereof,
But compassionate in love.
Let everything that you do,
As mercy is shining through;
Standing strong and brave,
Resisting desires you crave.
You shall be able to savor,
The first fruits of your labor;
If you are spiritually wise,
And not lured by enticing eyes.
Do what you know is right,
Diligently with your might;
But when you are not sure,
The Holy Word opens a door.
For the Lord God is good,
Showing what you should;
Do in living out every day,
Abiding in Him every way.
