On The Other Side
Well my love
precious inklings
have kept us in touch
through the years
oh how the seasons change
the constant is my companion
the keeper of all my dreams
looking up to the skies
white diamond stars
on a black backdrop
a million miles away
stirs the galaxy
and the world is so huge
no wonder New York
has thousands of taxies
destination of a place
because you are on my mind love....
All the time
so reach to your phone
I patiently await at the other end
write me a letter
you already have my name
printed across these skies
like the stars when they align
absent this space is now
but one day...somehow
given time
you will be mine.....
