THE BOY NEXT DOOR

The boy next door
He rode my bike
He talked to me
It's him I like

He knows me better
Than my best girlfriends
Because I send him a letter
With poems to comprehend

To comprehend this hero's life
To pretend that I'm his wife
To let the good and bad experiences show
To help him know I love him so

The boy next door
He leaves on lights
And I'm in seventh heaven
At home, at work, all through the night

When he is kind to me
I can give so much more
When he talks to me
My heartunes soar

They soar out on these lines
And I'm at peace and  feelin' fine
He's the kind of man I desire
The boy next door, he lights my fire.
