Tasked to Preach
We are tasked to teach,
As Christians to preach;
Unto the poor in spirit,
What they will inherit.
We are to heal the weak,
From sickness they seek;
From illness of all kind,
Even that is of the mind.
We must give the insight,
For others to see the light;
That is captivated by sin,
Being trapped deep within.
For a man is not born pure,
Rather captured by the lure;
Soon after birth we stumble,
That causes us much trouble.
But if we will put our trust,
Our God is merciful and just;
He will give us a new start,
Forgive and clean our heart.
