CYCLE OREGON 2006

Are you on those 500 miles today
From Heppner to Starkey
83 miles a long way
I know my guess is not malarkey

Called your office today to hear you
You're gone until the 18Th, a Monday
My Noah's going away too
As roundup for us not a fun day

Sit here in an orange Eddie Bauer dress
Unbuttoned in my underwear
My breasts full for your caress
Poet girl writes on knowing you care

The sadness of the season Fall
Where light goes dim too early
Can leave me to bawl
Depression sits in deeper surely

Then it's buried in my mind
Circles of images hanging there
Because you are my angel divine
Flying for me somewhere out there

You are here with me, it's okay
Your cinnamon eyes in my soul
To take out the poetry of you
So long my muse as you to roll

Two more nights to teach you me
Have to work alone again tonight
While you're out there to let it be
The poetry of you in this dusk's light...
