GOODWIN LANE

Why did you move to this neighborhood
We're obviously not in your class
Did you think you could do some good
Or was it just done in a pass

A property to buy
Until you could move to the North Hill
Or maybe to McKay
That seems like more your bill

None of us have doctorate degrees
We're mostly uneducated slobs
Trying to survive day by day
In our pink and blue collar jobs

What possessed you to live here
Was it convenience or the view
Anyway, I'm glad you're near
Because I've grown to love you.
