RICKY LOVES SEATTLE

Everyone listens to "Black Hole Sun"
I can see why
It's almost like a miracle
When bright light comes through the sky

There's five or six lanes of traffic
Pulling into town
You better drive aggressively
Or you won't get around

The masses they live there
So crowded together
Herded like cattle
Through wet misty weather

The weather brings green
Rhododendrons as big as trees
The rain falls almost everyday
A tropical rain forest if you please

The Space Needle is 600 feet high
Quite a wonder to partake
To see the Earth and city and Puget Sound
Is like a dream, but you're awake

Woodland Park Zoo is a lovely place
With a rose garden at the face
With animals you might only see on TV
Where people seem relaxed and happy

Pike's Place Market is quite a shopping place
With fish and vegetables and flowers
And lots of people
Plodding at a snails pace

The traffic, the weather, the crowds
All interesting, something new
But I love Eastern Oregon sunshine
My home and all of you.
