Let praise not cease; when blessed release
By the power of His word that was spoken
I obeyed what was told; and the awful hold
Of the chain of sin was broken
And God's mighty power; tumbled Satan's tower
Who left vacant the castle of my heart
He had to flee; when Christ came to dwell with me
And with Him I made a new start
All Heaven rejoiced; when it was voiced
In the realms of glory on high
That I had repented; to Jesus consented
When yes to the call was my reply
And burdens were lifted; new life was gifted
When measure was poured out beyond measure
No gold in life's vault; but I shall not halt
In building up for me Heaven's treasure
It shall never rust; or turn back to dust
And thieves can never break in and take hold
Now all my behaviour; is to serve my dear Saviour
And His well done will be worth more than any gold
In life I am poor; but my destiny is sure
And a glorious crown I will be presented
When I arrive in the Glory; such a wondrous story
The Kingdom of Heaven became mine whem I repented
