OH LORD GRANT US WISDOM
OFTEN TIMES,
WE FEEL UNHEARD
AND OUR PRAYERS ARE UN ANSWERED,
OUR DAILY LIVES FILLS WITH STRIFE
WHY LORD WHY THE Silence?
WHY CANT; WE HEAR FROM YOU WE SAY!
ONCE IT WAS SO EASY TO BE IN YOUR PRESENCE
HOW WE LONG TO HEAR YOUR VOICE WITHOUT DELAY
Trials AND STORMS, PROBLEMS IT SEEMS,
ONE SOLVED ANOTHER Surfaces,
EACH HOUR OF THE DAY
THEN I REACHED OUT ON THAT SHELVE,
THERE STOOD THE GOOD BOOK A BIT DUSTY
MY HANDS SHIVERED AS I OPENED IT SLOWLY
THE LORD SPOKE AND SAID

Blessed are the poor in spirit
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are the meek
for they will inherit the earth
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
for righteousness
for they will be filled
Blessed are the merciful!
for they shall be shown mercy
Blessed are the pure at heart
for they will see God
Blessed are the peacemakers
for they will be called sons of God
Blessed are those who are persecuted
because of righteousness
for theirs is the  kingdom of heaven


Thank You Holy of Holy
Every answer I needed
All there in the Bible!
You never leave us we go astray
When I need to hear you speak
All I needed too hear from you
Is to reach out on that shelve or table
Dust off the cover turn the page
Your word is life ageless and true
Roots deep into my heart
Spirit filled to guide
My every step  
Leading me back
In the right path
In your divine presence
