You say thank you
Yet you say you're true
What can I believe
When you always want to leave
This house, my care, my touch
My passion is too much
For your routine, boring life
Where for me you leave the strife
Of questioning your every move
Because you don't fit in the groove
Of my romance, my loving touch
Why don't you let me know how much
I mean to you and your mind
Do you even think of me alone sometime
Or can you ever see
I would shut up with security
That you don't give me now
I question my whole sexuality somehow
And look away from you to her
To write of how the feelings stir
Around in my mind
When you are unkind
And stay away
Just have your life today
Where I am not really yours
You say you're mine, but go to hers
Her sleeping there alone
Where you go home
Get in your bed you say is fine
Where there's no room in it for me
You won't scoot away let me in
It's no wonder I have no faith in men
They are cold and unkind
With them I'll probably not find
A mother's love, a father's face
Where both their care is grace
I ask these questions so afraid
Stay alone, myself I've laid
To love myself is heaven bound
As your love again let's me down.
