Consider your work as a reward.
You certainly will not get bored!
You are giving people another chance,
To make the best of every circumstance.
Be patient, loving, and kind.
A friend in you they will find.
Encourage them to do their best.
Let God handle all the rest.
Some people will get on your last nerve.
Let them see the mighty God you serve.
Yes, there are rules and limitations.
Help them meet your expectations.
They may be going back to school,
In order to learn a new skill or tool.
Always show them that you care.
There is no one like them anywhere.
Looking for a job can take its toll.
It is hard to hang in there and be bold.
Reassure them you are behind them all the way.
They may need confidence each and every day.
Some have been in the system for a long time.
They need to watch every penny and dime.
Encourage them to set up a budget.
Live within their means and not fudge it.
With the right skills and training,
They will make it without straining.
When we set our mind to complete a task in life,
We can accomplish it without further pain and strife.
