With You, I Wear PearlsCreamy white, luminescent orbs, perfectly round and flawless nestle protectively in the satin lined black velvet box, sadly banished to their darkened enclosure, patiently awaiting the next special occasion to flaunt their splendor. Why must invaluable treasures rejoice alone within their softly padded prison, when time spent with you deserves limitless displays of grandeur. Priceless jewels are the perfect outward expression of what resides in my heart. These precious gems need hide no more. I ceremoniously remove the worthless paste from around my neck and cheerfully vow forevermore, with you, I wear pearls! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
