Heart Of The Matter
I Cannot See
I'm standing by the ocean,
The moon within my view,
I don't see many stars tonight,
Well maybe, one or two,
I don't know what they call them,
Their names unknown to me,
They lighten up the darkest sky,
Remain in mystery,
At times, the clouds will shroud them,
And hide them from my sight,
Yet, high above the hemisphere,
They shine, forever bright,
And you; are like that hidden star,
Your light still shines for me,
I know you're out there somewhere,
But at times,
I cannot see.
