"And God Made Little Creatures Too"

I walked along the seashore.
And glanced down on the sand.
I found a little seashell.
And held it in my hand.

It had some pretty colors.
Of grays and pinks and blues.
I wondered about this life inside.
And did it die real soon.
~~~
Not many people think about;
This tiny life inside.
Of how it came to be on earth;
and why God gave it life.
~~~
This tiny little shell.
It had a purpose too.
Of bringing all this color;
on the sands for me and you.
~~~
With all of his creations.
He put upon this land.
He made this little seashell.
I'm holding in my hand.
