I work all night
sleep all day
pop the pills
to feel ok
My reactions are gone
my senses slowed
without these pills
I'd be alone
They've become my life
they've become my friends
without these pills
my life would end
I've become dependent
addicted to their taste
they bring me comfort
and fill the space
Without these loves
I'd probably die
