Heart Of The Matter
Falling
Still falling,
Falling…..
The tower so tall,
Many steps,
To turn and tumble,
I hold tightly,
Yet still,
I fall ….
Like the rain,
The heart pours,
A deluge of saline tears,
Still,
And falling,
Like the rain.
Soon, it ceases,
The clouds dissipate,
Sunlight banishes the gloom,
Hope springing eternally,
They say ….
I let go my grip,
It feels like flying,
I am flying,
And I am falling,
Like the rain.
