WINGS OF NIGHT

WINGS OF NIGHT

The day is spent and you feel so alone
Out here in space is no place to be
Galaxies with vast masses of range

High in the atmosphere walking on the wings of night
Following a trail of stardust
Looking for a place to hide

Celestial bodies calling to you
Gravitational fields pulling at you
Exquisite beautiful in their forms

What path to chose in this extragalactic nebula
Still seeking a place to hide
Stardust is clouding your eyes

The pull is so strong you have to let go
Out into the sphere you fly
High higher into the unknown you soar

Dark - shapes - colors - light
All at the same time - tired and wary
Following a trail of stardust - here on the wings of night

Then you find THE HIDING PLACE
Safe and secure you are being held in the Arms of Love
Rest now -  peace and joy are yours
