Fragile As We Lie
Fragile As We Lie
Disease of death visited the place
millions I see just like me
all hope is seemingly vanished
and I have this vision
of health and happiness
but it's slowing fading
as I wonder if every breath I take
is my last......
Wake up in the morning I shall
the sun is beautiful
and it is warming you and I
fragile as we lie
for a brief second all is forgotten
for moment in time
the possibilities of life is mine
hard to foresee the future
our bodies were growing thin
I can feel the peeling paint
the decaying of human life form
I had hopes and dreams just like you
and I once was just a precious baby just born
now some years later I may never see
the candles of my sixteenth
Wake up in the morning I shall
the sun is beautiful
and it is warming you and I
fragile as we lie
for a brief second all is forgotten
for moment in time
the possibilities of life is mine
oh how that scene comforts me
we need a cure so badly
no apologies needed
I see the mercy so few have shown
and the medicines brought by people unknown
in my heart you won't go un thanked....no kind deed
ever really goes unforeseen.....
